I built this model, an LF 16 based on a Mercedes-Benz 1017, in 1987. At that time, on the strength of my build reports in Modell Magazin, Revell always sent me their upcoming new releases in the truck and fire-engine field. I was to test them and inform Revell if anything did not fit. Of course I built the models to match the real vehicles, like this LF 16 of the Hagen fire department. Scale 1:24.
