Again solely for the toy fair and for the cover of the 1990 catalogue, I built a prototype of the BMW 850i. As with the BMW 507, I received numerous photos and drawings from Munich for building the model. At that time I was still not a Revell employee and worked on this model after work and at weekends.
The work on the model had paid off. The 850i was seen not only in the Revell catalogue but also on the cover of the 1990 edition.
