More than 40 years after the American LaFrance kits from AMT/Matchbox came onto the market, a model kit manufacturer dared to produce an ALF kit once again: the Chinese company Trumpeter.
This kit is ideal for conversions, whether as an aerial ladder, tower or TDA, meaning the Tractor Drawn Aerial version, an aerial ladder on a semi-trailer. Unfortunately, this model has no engine, the rims are too small and there are too few chrome parts. But better than no new fire truck from America at all.
